Environment

Our company's activity is based entirely on paper products. Paper is made from pulp, which consist of cellulose fibers extracted from wood- a typical renewable natural resource. Primarily the elderly trees are cut which are unsuitable for woodworking and timber waste and contribute less to photosythesis than the young ones. The production process is becoming more and more eco-friendly as well. Biomass which is produced during production is reused and water is cleaned under strict regulations. Paper as a final product is a fully recyclable and biodegradable material.

Therefore, paper products rank among the most environmentally friendly ones.

Society

Our facilities and our website are fully accessible to people with disability limitations.

Our members and employess are members and volunteers in non profit organizations for the protection of wild life and environment.

Our company supports Smile of the Child by offering free paper bags for the needs of the organization. www.hamogelo.gr

We are regular sponsor of the society for the revival of the Nemean games. www.nemeangames.org  

We are sponsoring with paper bags the organization for the protection of sea turtles. www.archelon.gr  and we support the efforts of the non-profit organization Wildlife Sense to protect the ecosystems of Kefalonia. https://wildlifesense.com/

We also support the efforts of the Municipality of Syros-Ermoupolis to reduce the plastic packaging on the Greek islands.

We participated in the initiative of the Municipality of Athens to reduce plastic waste in our environment. Unfortunately this initiative was totally abandoned later on.
